Our Staff

Our Lead Pastor, Steve Anderson, began providing pastoral leadership in September, 1996. After receiving a Bachelor's degree and a Master of Divinity degree from North Park College and Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL, he served churches in Pender, NE and Cloquet, MN before joining us in our ministry. Steve is married to Teri. They have two children, Josh and Sarah. At work Steve concentrates on preaching, teaching and working with leaders to develop and implement vision. At play he enjoys reading, traveling by car and ping-pong.

Our Pastor of Outreach, Lois Hokanson, began her ministry of increasing our effectiveness in reaching lost people in our community in September, 2000. Lois brings to her ministry a background in education and a passion for reaching lost people. She is a Master Gardener, and along with her husband, Dick, has organized and led mission trips to Jamaica for over a decade.

Our Pastor of Christian Formation, Joel Osterlund, provides direction for our children's and youth ministries. He was Program Director at Covenant Pines Bible Camp before joining our staff in December of 2004. Joel and his wife Merilea have two children, Jeremiah and Anna.
